I didn’t have much time to create my Bullet Journal layouts for June. I’d spent so much time trying to figure out the whole GDPR thing. PLUS I’d prepped for a test that I took at the end of the month. More on that test later on, but suffice to say my energy was low and time was scarce.
And time was running out – it was already the first of June and I had no place to do my handwritten planning* or keep track of what I needed to get done!
I figured since I would need to take time to create the spreads anyways, I might as well film it and do a quick Plan With Me video :)
To save time I…
- chose to use stickers instead of drawing anything myself
- chose hand lettering styles that are fast and easy
- didn’t try any new weeklies, but instead used some simpler ones that I’ve used before
- only prepped with pencil on some of the pages
This really saved me a lot of time!
Another thing that saved me time was the fact that my editing got really slimmed down and I decided to not do a voice over.
Normally I do a lot of cuts to make the video as tight as possible. So in my other videos you won’t see me reaching for a gazillion different pens before I decide which one to use. And you don’t get to see me compare different stickers to decide which one would work best in that particular place. Or at least, you won’t see it as much as in this video…
In PWM June I left these sections in the final video. So I guess in some ways this PWM video is the closest to actually seeing what it looks like when I create my spreads :)
With all that said, if you want to take a look at my June setup, head on over to my Youtube channel and have a watch. I would really appreciate any likes or comments if you enjoy it ♥
THE LATEST FREEBIES
I was pressed for time but I still wanted to create a new monthly freebie for the Tribe Library, as I’ve said I’ll do each month.
And I actually ended up creating two freebies; the one-page “It’s All About” to write your goals or theme for the month + the habit/goal tracker. This month I went with a minimalistic, black-and-white design that I hope you’ll like.
As always I’m open to suggestions of what you’d like to see being added to the Tribe Library, or the Shop for that matter. Simply hit reply if you have any suggestions ♥
If you don’t have access to the Tribe Library yet, simply head on over to the sign-up page and register. Remember to tick the ”Email” checkbox if you want to get updates when new freebies are added to the Library (and get deals I only share with my list).
Oh, yeah, and if you’ve already signed up you can reach the Tribe Library here and just check for any email from ForeverGoodLife to get reminded of the password.
Still curious about that test I did?
As I mentioned at the beginning of this blog post one of the reasons I didn’t have a lot of time was because I had to prepare for a test.
I’ve enrolled in a couple of programmes. And if you do well on these tests you increase your chances of getting in – so needless to say I really wanted to do as good as I possibly could!
The tests were in math and English. Since it’s been a few decades since I last did any math I had to go through three years of high-school math to make sure I remembered how to calculate x in more equations than I care to know about LOL
And the thing is (when it comes to going back to school) I’m 43 and still not completely sure these programmes will lead me to what I want to do with my life! Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever feel ”grown up” LOL
But my life motto is to take the path I feel drawn to. Not the easy one. And not the one I think I should take. I’m absolutely positive that it’s by taking action that we see paths that we otherwise would’ve never seen. Which means that even bad decisions at least moves us forward. I struggle with listening to my gut just like everyone else, but I think that’s part of the experience of life.
Well, maybe that was TMI, but I’m always so curious about what other people are up to so why not share it myself then :) And maybe, if you’re thinking of changing path, well just maybe it can be motivating to hear about others who’re doing it too ♥

* Well, I say ”handwritten planning” because I do use Google Calendar. This is where I always add my dates with friends, other appointments and my work hours (so I don’t forget to turn up for work LOL). I have a Bullet Journal because I function better with pen and paper, but it doesn’t ping and remind me of things ;)
