The new year is closing in on us, and I’m personally getting pretty excited with the possibility of starting with a new clean slate! As the #plannernerd I am I want to incorporate the new year and everything that comes with it in my Bullet Journal.
As always I love to scout the internet for inspiration, and as always I want to share with you what I’ve found. I hope you enjoy!
1. SAY HELLO TO THE NEW YEAR
If you like to decorate your planner or Bullet Journal you might be planning on doing a sort of ”goodbye 2017 and hello 2018” type of layout. Here are some inspirational BuJo pages to get your creative juices flowing. (Click on the images to get to their webpage or Instagram account).

Mary Kate McDevitt
Not only do I love Mary’s work, I love her classes as well! I’m so happy that she also teaches on Skillshare! She has several classes, and here’s one where she shares her knowledge of vintage hand-lettering.
2. SET YOUR GOALS & INTENTIONS
To me, there’s a difference between intentions and goals. Intentions are more of what I’d love to see more of in my life, but I might not set any specific goals for them. Whereas goals will have specific endpoints of the result I want and when I want to have reached it.
This year I’ll be using my My Big Plans – The 2018 Goal Planner to decide on and plan out my goals. But I might add them to my BuJo as well, just to have it as a reminder in something that I use often, which is my BuJo :)

3. A YEAR IN PIXELS
This is such an awesome idea, and I’ve seen many bullet journalists do this monthly as well. I love the idea of having an overview of the whole year this way, to see what’s going on in my life.
What is this ”A Year in Pixels” you might ask? Well, the idea is that you first chose a topic you want to track, like your mood or what days you practiced yoga. Then you set up the ”A Year In Pixels” in your Bullet Journal, where one square equals one day.
Let’s say you decide to do a mood tracker, then you’ll also add a note of what each mood will have as a marker. Maybe you’ll use different colors for different moods. Then you’ll go to this page each day of the year and color in that day in the tracker.
How About you?
What will you be adding to your bullet journal for the new year? If you create any of these pages and want to share, leave a link in the comments below. I’d love to see it + I know other’s would love to get more inspiration as well :)
